Your employees must have access to all the necessary features for efficient time tracking and scheduling. It seems that your employee is experiencing issues while using the QuickBooks Workforce app. I'm here to assist you in resolving this as quickly as possible, jurmoby.
To resolve the issue of not being able to see your team member's timesheets, there are two solutions. Firstly, you can turn on the crew setting by going to the Workforce app. Here's how:
- Select on More, then Settings, and click on General.
- Turn on Show Admin Crew.
Alternatively, if you have the crew setting turned on and still can't see the timesheets, it could be because you have the wrong view selected. To access your team members' timesheets:
- Go to the Workforce app, select Track Time, then Timesheets.
- Select My timesheets, and then select All timesheets.

The app only shows them the taps: Money, Time Off, Taxes, Help, and Settings. How do they see their schedule and clock in and out using workforce app?

Hi there, JeffreyHall. I recognize the significance of tracking time within the Workforce app.
If your employees are unable to see the clock-in option, I recommend asking them to log out of the app and then log back in. This will refresh their account and ensure that the latest updates are applied. Please make sure they use the correct email when logging into the system.
Moreover, make sure that the admin or manager grants them the Mobile Time Entry permission to use the Workforce app. This will ensure they won't get any error messages when attempting to clock in on the app.
Here's how to enable the permission:
- The admin needs to log in to the web dashboard and select My Team.
- Open the team member profile and click Permissions.
- Turn on Mobile time entry.
- Once synced, they should be able to start tracking time on the app.
If the issue persists, we can refresh the app. Before doing so, ensure that timesheet data stored on their mobile device has synced with the web dashboard. Follow these steps to reset the app data:
- Click More and go to Settings.
- Select Reset App and click Reset App to confirm.

I see how crucial it is for all your employees to have access to their timesheets in the workforce app, steallen. Let's examine the settings configuration to verify their limitation to the timesheet viewing functionality and walk through a few troubleshooting measures together.
Since only a few of your employees are experiencing the issue, you can turn on mobile time entry for an individual. Given that you want them to view their timesheets in the QuickBooks Workforce app while preventing them from clocking in or out, follow the steps below:
- In QuickBooks Time, go to Company Settings, select Time Options, then Time Entry.
- Remove the checkmark on Allow team members to manage their own timesheets and Allow team members to track time on the mobile app checkboxes, then Save.
- Go to the My Team tab and select a team member.
- Click the Permissions tab.
- Select Mobile time entry, and then Save.
- To let them manage their timesheets from any platform, select Manage my timesheets, then Save.
- Repeat for each team member you want to have mobile time entry access.
Once fixed, you can allow team members to submit their timesheets from a mobile device. Refer to this article for details: Change QuickBooks Workforce settings and permissions.
However, I recommend letting your employees refresh the app if the issue persists. Before proceeding, please ensure that any data saved on their mobile device has synchronized with the web dashboard. Afterward, let them follow these actions to reset the app data:
- Click More and go to Settings.
- Select Reset App and click Reset App to confirm.
Moreover, check out this reference for more ways to repair the app: Troubleshoot QuickBooks Workforce.
