The issue w this is that I can try this 100 times.... I got thru once to a supervisor who was actually getting somewhere w my concern....after waiting all day being transferred over and over....then, the call drops!! No follow up. I have to start all over the next day. Because my issues are payroll tax related apparently only certain people can help and they're literally unreachable. They communicate via closing my cases in the "resolution" center and didn't even bother to talk to me about the concerns... So they close cases when they're not resolved. Now I deal w IRS for their errors w no recourse. 11+ years customer and I'm finally at the end of my rope.
If there is a lawsuit, I'm in. They are currently holding funds that we were paid for doing a larger job. I can't pay our debts and QB does not care. When I expressed that they are causing our business major problems by holding up our cash, they had the audacity to offer one of their lending products.

Im in as well! I have been getting charged over 5% to process transaction when my rate is 2.9%. I have had my accounts frozen 3x by QB over issues I did not know existed because they were calling a phone number not even connected to my account. QB is running a non fiduciary banking system and bundling products together with out our permission which is disrupting our whole platforms over unrelated issues! A class action is required. They get to overcharge, freeze accounts, not give access to speak with the risk department and we get no kind of recourse... Please tell me if Wells Fargo-bank, PaySafe-merchant, ADP-payroll or XERO-accounting software could ever get away with a scheme like this??!! The answer is H*LL NO... They nearly put me out of business 2x already from holding customer payments and freezing my bank account... I was told I had to wait 48-72 business hours for their risk dept to call me as there is no phone number for them... it took longer 72 business hours which is 9 Mon-Fri work days for a call from them.
Is this still in the works? I just found your post and I'm in with the class action lawsuit!
I have had bad issues as well. I have over 10 tickets opened which quickbooks immediately closes with no resolution. I have chargebacks I won and they refuse to provide documentation for them. I was even told I was owed over $10k several months ago but quickbooks refuses to pay it and won't provide anything in writing to me at all. I've escalated to the Attorney General to begin a case.
Quickbook Payroll filed my withholding tax in Q4 of last year. I got a letter from Minnesota State saying there is a discrepancy and I owe them money. Quickbook is responsible for submitting the payments because they take money out of my account when I run payroll. I don't have additional funds for the money the State is asking me to pay since It was already taken out of my checking account by Quickbooks. The state is adding penalties on top of the unpaid amounts. I opened the case several weeks ago and uploaded the letter sent by the state. First no one in customer service knew anything to help me out. I had to ask the state to give me an extension but that has already lapsed. Then someone finally figured out that I need to upload the letter to their case center which I did but no one in customer service after knew anything about the letter. They would ask me about it when the letter was already in the portal .When I told them that they should know about it they told me that they don't have access to the letter because its a separate dept. And to top it off no one in Intuit can help me. They told me to just wait because these resolutions are taking 30-40 days. The extension already expired and the state will try to get the money somehow. Can someone tell me what to do? Also, is this grounds for a lawsuit?

@jgraveran A Facebook link was posted several times on earlier pages, but it appears to have been closed or otherwise shut off.
Hi jeff
did you ever get an answer on how to join the lawsuit?
I just realized after 18 months they were charging me for payroll. When I never even started the process. Due to their error. It would not let me add my bank and they tried to help many times and couldn't.
Not sure who is collecting names. I am frustrated with the huge increase in price. I have Assisted payroll for over 20 years. It used to be the program was almost free because you pay for payroll each time you run it....not cheap, but reasonable.
You used to be able to buy the desktop version for a few hundred and use it for 2 years.
2 years ago.....a 1 year subscription went to $360, last year to $500 and this year to $1000.
They want you to change to on-line, pay even more and get way less.
stuck.
Kevin
I understand how challenging it can be to be charged for a service you’ve never used, Demi.
