Hello @NukePooch.

The Script Error prompt in QuickBooks happens when the internet settings of the default browser are incorrect or misconfigured. To resolve the issue, please make sure to add QuickBooks as a trusted website.

Here's how:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Gear (⚙️) icon and choose Internet Options.
  3. Go to the Security tab and click on the Sites button.
  4. Add *.intuit.com to trusted sites. Note: It is recommended that you remove all other websites about intuit.com from the list of websites, as *.intuit.com will cover all Intuit sites.
  5. Close the Trusted sites window.
  6. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode and click on Apply.
  7. Close Internet Explorer
If the issue persists after doing the steps, I would recommend calling our Support. They have the resources to check your file and fix the update error.
