Let’s get the new employee set up to view paychecks and W-2s online, @Timwayers.


You need to log in to your Intuit account in QuickBooks to send the invite. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Company menu and select My Company.
  2. Click the Manage Your Account button for QuickBooks to open a browser and direct you to the site.
  3. Enter your Intuit ID and password.
  4. Select Manage Payroll Cloud Services from the Employees menu.
  5. Change the status to On under QuickBooks Workforce.
  6. Pick Invite Employees for the list to appear. 
  7. Add the email address of the new employee.
  8. Hit Send Invite

Then, have your employee access the email to accept Workforce invites. This is only valid for up to 30 days after you sent it.

  1. Open the email from Intuit Services with a subject: Finish setting up with (business name).
  2. Click the Get access for paychecks link to accept the invite.
  3. Set up an Intuit account.

Once done, your employee should now be able to access the website by going to workforce.intuit.com. Here’s an article that tackles more about this: QuickBooks Workforce: Access your paychecks and W-2s online.
