You can initiate a subscription upgrade when a new version of QuickBooks is available. A message will appear informing you of this once you open QuickBooks.
 

Here's how to initiate an upgrade from the message:
 

1. When you're ready, click Upgrade Now.
2. Choose Keep old version on my computer if you want to keep your current QuickBooks.
3. Hit Let's go.
4. The new version will now be downloaded, installed, and activated. Your company file(s) will also be updated.
5. When it's finished, select Open QuickBooks.

You can also manually upgrade from the Discovery Hub:
 

1. Access your Discovery Hub, then click Upgrade to QuickBooks 2024.
2. Hit Proceed to upgrade and press Upgrade now.
3. If you want both versions, pick Keep old version on my computer.
4. When the upgrade's completed, select Open QuickBooks.
