I'd like to help and make sure you turn off the automation feature in QuickBooks Online.

You can turn the auto-apply feature in just a few steps. I'll show you how to do it.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and Settings.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. Go to the Automation section and click on the Pencil icon to edit.
5. Tap to turn off Automatically apply credits.
6. Select Save, and then Done.
