Let me share this insight I have about multi-currency, @lyna.

We need to check if USD is the default currency in the customer information page. Please follow the steps below on how to locate it.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select the Customers tab.
  2. Choose the customer's name and click the Edit button at the upper right side of the screen
  3. Hit the Payment and billing.
  4. In the This customer pays me with field, you’ll see the default customer currency.

If it’s not a USD currency, you can assign a foreign currency to a customer. You can follow the steps on how to do it.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select the Customers tab.
  2. Click the New customer button.
  3. In the Customer Information page, fill out the applicable information.
  4. Click the Payment and billing section.
  5. This customer pays me with a drop-down arrow, select the USD United States Dollar currency.
  6. Hit Save.

Also, you can create a new customer in a sales form and assign a foreign currency in QuickBooks.
