Manage Customers and Income
Let me share this insight I have about multi-currency, @lyna.
We need to check if USD is the default currency in the customer information page. Please follow the steps below on how to locate it.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Sales menu and select the Customers tab.
- Choose the customer's name and click the Edit button at the upper right side of the screen
- Hit the Payment and billing.
- In the This customer pays me with field, you’ll see the default customer currency.
If it’s not a USD currency, you can assign a foreign currency to a customer. You can follow the steps on how to do it.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Sales menu and select the Customers tab.
- Click the New customer button.
- In the Customer Information page, fill out the applicable information.
- Click the Payment and billing section.
- This customer pays me with a drop-down arrow, select the USD United States Dollar currency.
- Hit Save.
Also, you can create a new customer in a sales form and assign a foreign currency in QuickBooks.
You’re always welcome to post in the Community. If you have any other questions. Take care.
