Since you're experiencing the same issue, I recommend contacting support again. A live representative can look into your account securely and provide some troubleshooting steps to address this behavior.
 
To contact support:
 
  1. Select the QuickBooks Desktop Help option from the Help menu.
  2. Click the Contact Us button.
  3. Please enter your question, then tap on Let's Talk.
  4. Scroll down and pick to Get a callback.
