QuickBooks Desktop has a 3-year life cycle. Upgrading it from 2013 to 2022 may cause data issues due to feature or version differences. To prevent this from happening, you'll want to create a backup copy of your file and restore it to QBDT 2015/2016 and then to 2018/2019, then QuickBooks Desktop 2021. Once done, we'll then proceed to QBDT 2022, then that's it. You can smoothly run your files in the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop.
