If you wanted to add your accountant as a standard user, you can change their user's permission in QuickBooks Online. I'll show you how.

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Find the user you want to edit, then click Edit in the Action column.
  4. In the user type dropdown, choose the new user type.
  5. Select the user settings, if applicable.
  6. Hit Save.

 

Alternatively, you can also invite your accountant as a firm so they can review your QuickBooks company. Check out this article for more details: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online.
