I appreciate you for trying the given process provided by my colleague. However, the instructions above are for products and services inactivation. 

 

If you're referring to the accounts in your Charts of Accounts, it has different steps to inactivate them. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account you want to delete.
  3. Hit the Action dropdown button, and click Make inactive.
