If you're referring to the accounts in your Charts of Accounts, it has different steps to inactivate them. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account you want to delete.
  3. Hit the Action dropdown button, and click Make inactive.
