I understand the importance of you being able to reconcile your accounts in QuickBooks Online, @kll2.
If you're not using the QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) version that has the undo reconciliation option, you can manually edit each transaction instead to undo it on your QBO account.
Here's how:
- Go back to the Gear icon at the top.
- Choose Chart of Accounts under Your Company column.
- Locate the appropriate account for the transaction.
- Select the View Register link on the Action column.
- Identify the transaction to edit.
- In the reconcile status column (indicated by a checkmark), repeatedly click the top line of the transaction to change the status, then Save.
- C - Cleared.
- R - Reconciled.
- Blank - Not cleared or reconciled.
