Payroll and STP
Hi Dorretti,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
It's good to hear you were able to check the classification of the child support deduction in your deduction categories. After the STP phase 2 roll out there were two classifications automatically added by the system, the Child support deduction and Child support garnishee.
Since you've verified the set up is correct, let's create an update event in your Single Touch Payroll. Here's how:
- Click on the Payroll tab.
- Click on Reports and choose Single Touch Payroll.
- Click on Create update event.
- Select the Financial year and Pay schedule.
- Click on Create.
Verify if the child support deduction amount is showing. Check this link to learn more about how to: Update deduction categories for STP Phase 2.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can ask for your details in a secure way and help check your deduction categories.
