Thanks for joining in on this thread. I can point you in the right direction so that you can get an answer to your question about your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). 

 

If you've reviewed what my colleagues have stated above and tried their methods, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll be able to use a screen share tool to help upgrade your 2009 QB to 2014. You'll need to upgrade by 3 years in order to get your company file to the 2014 version. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Pick the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Press the Contact Us hyperlink. 
  4. Give a brief description of the problem and hit Let's Talk
  5. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback

 

That's all there is to it!
