There are lots of possible reasons why QuickBooks constantly crashes/freezes. Here are some of them:
- The company name is too long.
- Damaged or missing QBWUSER.INI file.
- Corruption on your hard drive.
- Damaged program files or QuickBooks Desktop installation.
- Damage Windows operating system.
To resolve the issue, let's start by running the Refresher tool to end QuickBooks processes running in the background.
- Close QuickBooks, then download the Refresher tool.
- Save the file on your desktop.
- Run the QBRefresher tool.
- Re-open QuickBooks Desktop.
