I appreciate you getting back to us, Treasurer. Let me chime in and assist you in resubmitting your 1099 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
After voiding and updating the correct information, you can e-file your 1099 forms again as per the usual method. If you have already paid for the initial e-filing, there will be no charges when you resubmit.
Here's how:
- Go to Payroll and select Contractors.
- Click Prepare 1099s.
- Follow the steps to create and e-file your 1099 forms. Then, review and update your company's legal and contractor details, including their legal name, tax identification numbers, and addresses.
Once complete, each contractor will receive a new paper and electronic copy of their 1099 form.
Furthermore, you can print your 1099 forms directly in QBO if you require physical copies for your contractors.
Keep in touch if you need additional guidance in e-filing your 1099 forms in QBO. The Community is open anytime to assist you. Take care.
