Thank you for getting back to us. If the error still exists even on a clean company file, this is something that we need to check further. I also understand that you found a different folder that caused the popup, which then came back a few days after you deleted it. Have you tried scanning your computer with an antivirus or anti-malware?
Would you mind getting in touch with our QB Desktop Support so that they can use more tools to gather data and investigate this further?
- Click on Help.
- Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Choose Contact us.
- In the description field, enter a summary of the scenario and hit Continue.
- Click Message an agent.
