Hello, @RabbieBurns78. We greatly appreciate your continued participation in the Community space. We want to assure you that we do not intend for you to experience runtime problems that can disrupt your business activities with QuickBooks. Our goal is to help you resolve your concern promptly.
We understand the importance of ensuring that QuickBooks Online (QBO) runs smoothly. We will provide you with some troubleshooting steps to help improve its performance.
Intuit anticipates that the most frequently accessed pages in QuickBooks Online will load within 10 seconds, and we continually monitor our systems to ensure that we meet this goal. However, it's essential to consider that because this program is web-based, it also depends on your computer or device's processing power, available memory (RAM), and the bandwidth of your Internet connection to function as intended.
The following actions will improve its performance.
- Navigate to the Chrome menu, select Help, and click About Google Chrome to ensure you have the latest version of Google Chrome.
- Verify that your operating system is up to date and meets or exceeds the System Requirements for QuickBooks Online.
- Check that your internet speed (bandwidth) is not limiting your QuickBooks Online experience. Run a Google Speed Test to confirm the bandwidth/speed of your connection. To better understand the results of the Google Speed Test, be sure to read about how the results are determined and what they signify.
