Manage Customers and Income
Thanks for visiting the Community, @Margie- MGL. Let's figure out why you're experiencing this unexpected behavior in your invoices.
First off, I'd recommend using an incognito or a private window to check whether this has something to do with your browser. If proven, perform the necessary troubleshooting steps on your default browser to fix it.
To start a private or incognito window, open any supported browser. Then, refer to these following shortcut keys below:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N.
Log in to your QuickBooks and check to see if you're able to see the VAT line on the invoice. If you do, that means you're going through a browser-related issue. Go back to your default browser and follow the steps to clear the cache and cookies.
If none of the steps work, try using a different supported browser.
For future reference, read through this help article: Receive payments for an invoice. It helps you learn about keeping track of your customer's payments.
