I set up the new Quickbooks Checking Account a few minutes ago. Did not realize it would not give me the chance to confirm setting it up. How can I delete this account before it is funded?

QuickBooks Checking is only available in the US version of QuickBooks Online. Can you tell us if you have QBO US or QBO Australia? What do you mean by funded? We're asking these questions to make sure that we're giving you the right details to sort this out.

You can pay your subscription renewal fee with Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card, or American Express. However, to retain your account, I suggest contacting our Phone support team. They have the tools to check on your account and can provide further advice regarding this matter. Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AEDT.
    • Call us. M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, AEDT.

Hi

The phone number used in my account belongs to a previous employee that no longer works here. When I go into the security setting to change the number, it still requires a verification code that is sent to the number of the previous employee.

 

How can I change the phone number without the verification code sent to them?

You can submit a phone change request to update the current phone number on file. Our dedicated verifications team will process your request within one business day. 

 

Access this link to submit a phone change request: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in. Then, click on the Recover My Account button on the next page select an ID type to attach to the request, and the Reason for request is I need to update my phone only. Fill out the form and other details asked to complete the request. 

 

Within 24 hours check for an email from Intuit [email address removed] with the next steps.

Hi My company ID is [Removed] and my last subscription is wrongly debited on our Amex Card ending 8346 instead of 2073. So we requested you to reverse the charges of A$ 40 back to our card 8346 and charge the same on our new card 2073.

The current administrator and contact info on our Online Quickbooks account is no longer with our organisation.  How do we update these details?

We can transfer the primary admin role to an existing QuickBooks user, Nanna.

 

Or, add them as a company admin if they are not currently a QuickBooks user. Once they’ve been added and have accepted the invitation, transfer the primary admin role to them.

 

If you're unable to contact the current primary admin, here's what to do:

 

  1. Gather documents for your request.
  2. Send your request by clicking the Request Primary Administrator Update button form in this article: Request to be the primary admin or contact.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the form.

 

Once completed, our dedicated team will review and finalize the application. After that, you will receive an email notification about the status of your request.
