Downloading all of the updates in QuickBooks is a good place to start to fix errors like this, hsmithcpa.

2. Select QuickBooks Desktop, and then choose your version.
3. Click the Running Your Business in QuickBooks topic.
4. Select the Basic, Standard, or Enhanced Payroll sub-topic.
5. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.
