Missing Font for W-2
I upgraded to QB desktop 2023 earlier this year. I just tried to print my W2 forms and it would not let me. It said I was missing several fonts. I was able to pull most of them from my old computer. One font it requires was not on my old computer and I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. I do not want to uninstall and reinstall qb for one font. Does QB have this font for download?

Normally, if you repair the QuickBooks installation, the required fonts will be reinstalled. Do that from the Windows Add/Remove programs control panel. Then restart your computer.
If that does not fix it, you may have a corrupted windows fonts library(?), which is harder to fix. Unfortunately I don't remember how to do that...

Thank you for the help. I realized that it was actually two separate fonts and was able to find them on my old computer and successfully print my W-2s.

I am having the exact same error. I'm an IT support technician (for 30 years) and we upgraded our Quickbooks Pro from 2021 to 2024 last year (desktop version). I do not have access to the old computer and there should be no reason to have to uninstall and reinstall QB. In fact, we just upgraded to a new computer a month or so ago so this IS a fresh install. Apparently the font issue is a glitch (I'm sure a purpose-built glitch forcing you to qbo as usual). Intuit support should release the fonts in a downloadable update.

For anyone experiencing this issue:
The new computer is Windows 11. I went to a random Windows 10 computer and copied the entire Fonts directory (c:\windows\fonts) and overwrote the Windows 11 fonts directory. This resolved the issue.

The QuickBooks installer should install all of the fonts needed for tax forms. Sometimes fonts are deleted or corrupt, and if that happens reinstalling, or even repairing the QuickBooks installation should fix missing fonts.
I recommend restarting just before repairing and just after repairing QuickBooks. See How to Repair QuickBooks for steps.
