I did find a viable "fix" for this situation some of you may find useful.
- Go to Downloaded Transactions
- Click "Renaming Rules"
- Find and delete the entry that is misnaming / miscategorizing the transaction
- Correctly rename the Downloaded Payee" under the "Payee" and assign the correct Class
This works perfectly for me.
