I can help you delete credit card transactions by batch, @jadira.
Deleting multiple transactions by batch is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Accountant 2017, Enterprise and Enterprise Accountant 17.0, and later versions. Here's how:
- Go to the File menu and select Switch to Single-user mode.
- Select the Accountant menu, then click Batch Delete/Void Transactions.
- Click the transactions you want to delete.
- Select Review & Delete.
- Click Back Up & Delete. You can also skip the backup and select Delete only or Void only from the dropdowns.
- Select Yes to confirm.
After you delete or void the transactions, you can select View Deleted/Voided Transaction Report to print a copy of the deleted transactions.
If you're using the Premier version, the only way to delete transactions is to manually do it one at a time. Here's how:
- Go to the Lists menu, then click Chart of Accounts.
- Select the account, right-click, then click Delete Account.
- Click OK to confirm.
Although, I'd suggest reaching out with your accountant before deleting it since this might be affecting your reconciled balances or closed books.
Let me share this article about understanding QuickBooks Chart of Accounts for future reference.
Please keep in touch if there's anything else I can do to help you succeed with QuickBooks. I've got your back. Have a great day.

If you are using QB Deskop Pro/Premier, utilize the trial period of these 3rd party deleter tools.

You're right, Lizette1320. I'll share some information.
The feature lets you delete Bills, Invoices, Checks, and Sales Orders. You'll want to delete the credit card transaction manually. You can follow the steps provided by Maybelle_S to guide you.
On the other hand, you may want to check for third-party apps that will help you delete them by batch.
Let us know if you have other questions. We'll be around to answer them. Take care!

Hi, I read the official QB instructions on this question (different webpage). There was even a box that listed the types of transactions for which you CANNOT batch delete/void; credit card transactions were NOT in that box, which implies that it should be possible to batch delete credit card transactions. Why is this capability missing from QB?

Hello there, gsa11.
You're correct that credit card entries aren't included in the list of transactions that can't be batch deleted or voided, as indicated in the article. Let me provide clarification and ensure you can perform an alternative way to achieve your goal.
As mentioned above, the Batch Delete/Void Transactions option only allows you to delete Bills, Invoices, Checks, and Sales Orders. That said, removing or voiding the credit card entries as batch is currently unavailable and you have to do the process manually.
Here's how:
- Go to the Lists menu and choose Chart of Accounts.
- Select the specific account.
- Find the particular credit card entry you want to delete. Then, right-click and choose Delete.
- Click OK to confirm.
Then, you can read this article to see further details about deleting or voiding transactions in QBDT: Batch delete or void transactions in QuickBooks Desktop Accountant Edition.
On the other hand, I recommend providing feedback on the article you've read so that our product engineers can update the information for accuracy.
In case you need steps on how to personalize reports within the program to tell you about different aspects of your business, you can read this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
Keep me posted if you have other questions about managing credit card transactions in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to assist you again, gsa11. Take care!

Hey there, Brigida. Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Can you elaborate more on the feature you're referring to?
