There might be an error on the name list. You can resolve this by creating a dummy account and merging it with the existing AMEX account.
Here's how:
- Select Lists on the menu.
- Click Chart of Accounts.
- Select the Account drop-down at the bottom, then choose New to create a new account.
- Select an account type, then Continue.
- Enter the account details.
- Save and close.
Merge account:
- Right-click the name of the account that you would like to merge, then select Edit Account.
- Replace the account name with the one you took note of or copied, then select Save & Close.
- A prompt will appear, select Yes to merge the account.
Then, go back to the import transaction process.
