The option to add a class to a specific customer or job is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online and Desktop. You can only add classes to transactions.
However, you could consider adding a customer type by following these steps:
- In the Desktop version, go to the customer's profile.
- Select the Additional Info tab.
- Enter or add a customer type.
- Click on OK once you're done.
