As mentioned by my colleagues, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is the only version that can create a “View-Only” user.
On the other hand, the Selective Access option in QuickBooks Desktop Pro includes all or some of these options only:
- Create transactions only
- Create and print transactions
- Create transactions and create reports
Therefore, with the Selective Access option in the Pro edition means a user can modify a transaction.
