Yes, there is an option to undo or remove reconciled accounts in QuickBooks Online, Social-Environmental--Agency.

If you'd like to correct reconciliation mistakes or review discrepancies, you can unreconcile the account and compare the transactions with your bank statements to ensure they are accurately recorded and match the bank’s actual records.

For accuracy, you may consult with an accountant to help determine if an unreconciled transaction or adjustment is required.

To unreconcile a transaction, please follow these steps:

Please note that this process allows you to unreconcile one transaction at a time.

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Navigate to the Chart of accounts, find the account containing the transaction, and select Account history.
  3. Locate the transaction within the list. If it has been reconciled, an R will appear in the checkmark ✔ column.
  4. Click on the transaction.
  5. In the checkmark ✔ column, click the box with the R until the box is blank.
  6. Click Save.

Once you have corrected the transactions, you can go ahead and initiate the reconciliation process for the account again.
