Navigating currency values and managing statements depends on how your bank account, customer, or QuickBooks account has been set up, @finance214. Let's explore a few scenarios to better understand how currency is handled in statements.
If you are referring to a bank statement, the control over how amounts and currency totals are displayed rests with your financial institution. I recommend contacting your bank directly to inquire whether they provide an option to maintain the original currency on your statements.
Should your question be about customer statements in QBO, the currency displayed is based on the choice you made when setting up your client. Please be aware that this can be altered since it is tied to the configuration at the time of setup.
On the other hand, if you're talking about your monthly QuickBooks billing statement, the currency displayed is determined by the region associated with your account. It is important to note that this selection is fixed and cannot be changed.
