I can see how important it is to have the ability to set different messages on different custom invoice templates here in QuickBooks Online (QBO). As of the moment, the feature is currently unavailable, and what I can do is I can input the steps below so you can send a feature request to our Product Development Team. This way, they'll see how brilliant your idea is and how QBO users can potentially benefit from it. To begin, here's how:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. In the upper-right corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  4. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion. and then click Next.
  5. Type your email address.
  6. Once done, click Send Message.

 

For now, you can consider manually writing the message on the template you'll use whenever you create an invoice in QBO.
