Allow me to share a few information when adding contact details on invoice, info1639.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) gives you the flexibility and convenience when making changes to your data. After  making any changes with your customer information, the details should show in your invoice. Although, this won't show on the previous invoices already create before the changes was made. But this will show on your newly create invoice. You can open the invoice and edit them instead.

However, if you're still unable to see the changes, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue. You can launch a private window (incognito) and check if you're still getting the same problem. I've provided the shortcuts keys below so you can follow:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

Once logged in, double check if the changes is already showing on the invoice. If so, return to your default browser. Your cache and extensions are probably interfering with the scripts QuickBooks is trying to run the page. Clear the cache so you'll be able to work with a clean slate. If not, you can switch to a different browser.

Also, you may want to create fields for the data that won't show on the invoice. QuickBooks provides custom field wherein you can add to your invoice for your convenience. To now more about this, I've added this article for your guide: How To Add Custom Fields To Sales Forms and Purchase Order.
