I also spent many hours on customer support call and screen shared with them to demonstrate. Two different customer support team members confirmed with me that it was a glitch in their system but they didn’t have the power to elevate it to get it fixed with engineering. Because of this I left quickbooks and migrated my books to another accounting app. 

I thought about going on LinkedIn and contacting as many intuit engineers as I could to work around the customer support system they have in place that prevents this important issue from getting elevated to a place it could be fixed. I didn’t bother because I dropped quickbooks, but maybe that’s work a shot?
