It seems that quickbooks support is full of bumbling idiots who never have actually run a payroll system in their life. How did this feature regress so bad? I need to run payroll retroactively after paying my employees by hand last quarter, but Quickbooks won't let me enter late payroll and incur the penalties. It used to be able to work this way just fine and I would sort it out with the IRS. QBO even calculated the late fees correctly. What GIVES. I am so sick of this garbage.
