I'm here to help keep aligning your 1099-NEC easy and simple, @surfsidehoa.

To start with, follow the prompts in the 1099 Wizard until you reach the Choose a filing method window. To align and print the forms, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Print 1099s button.
  2. Select the range (of date) the 1099s were paid from and tap OK.
  3. Pick the form 1099(s) you wish to print and choose the Preview 1099 button.
  4. If the alignment is still off, go to the File menu at the top-left corner and select Printer Setup.
  5. Choose the 1099-NEC or 1099s from the list in Form Name.
  6. Tap the Align button and adjust alignment as needed.
  7. Hit OK twice to save the changes.

On the other hand, if you purchase the 1099s sheets from third-party vendors. Then, I suggest you contact them to see if they are compatible with QuickBooks.

You can look at this article to serve as your printing reference: How do I print my 1099 forms?

Additionally, you may also check out the Make fine alignment adjustments section of this link for details on printer setup: Fix print alignment of continuous-feed printers.

Let me know if you still need help printing your 1099-NEC form or anything else in QuickBooks. I'll be more than happy to help you anytime. Have a good day!
