I'd like to add some additional info to help you print the form.
There isn't a need to turn on payroll to print 1099 forms. You'll want to try the other solutions shared in this article: Print 3-part 1099s in QuickBooks Desktop. If you're still experiencing the same problem after trying out the steps, please contact our Customer Care Team. They can review your setup and investigate why you're unable to print the form 1099.
