I'm here to provide information about your 1099-NEC forms printing concern, @robwolo.

 

To isolate the issue, you have to ensure that you have the latest release of a supported version of QuickBooks Desktop. To verify the release you have, please press the F2 key on your keyboard if you are in QuickBooks right now. If you're not in the latest release, you can perform the following steps:

 

  1. Update QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release.
  2. Close and reopen QuickBooks to install them.
  3. Once done, process 1099's again.

 

Additionally, below are the releases required to print 1099-NEC forms 3 to a page in QBDT for Mac:

 

  • QuickBooks Mac Plus 2022 R4 (or later)
  • QuickBooks Mac 2021 R8 (or later)
  • QuickBooks Mac 2020 - update coming soon
  • QuickBooks Mac 2019 - update coming soon
