Let's go ahead and set up the Taxes section on your QuickBooks Online account to reactivate the tax code that has been deleted. Let me show you how:

1. Click Taxes in the left panel.
2. Select the Sales Tax sub-tab.
3. Click the Edit button in the upper right-hand corner, the select Edit rates.
4. Click the Gear icon, and check the box for Include inactive.
5. Once your tax agency code shows up, click the Make active link in the far right.

Quickbooks Online will update the VAT rates automatically if there are updates from the Government.
