Hi there, @peterjang. I'll make sure you can import your journal entries right away.

Missing buttons or icons are usually the result of too much historical data stored in your browser. We can perform basic troubleshooting to resolve it. First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If everything is fine, clear your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with it.

Additionally, before you import your journal entries, make sure that your file includes the following information:

  • Journal No
  • Journal Date
  • Journal Code
  • Account Name
  • Journal
  • Debits
  • Credits
  • Select date format

Furthermore, if your spreadsheet has new accounts, be sure to add them to your Chart of Accounts before importing. You can also check out this article for more info: Common questions about importing data.

If the Journal Entry option is still missing, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team support. They can perform further troubleshooting and raise a ticket to our engineering team if necessary.

You can swing by anytime you need more help with importing your data into QuickBooks Online. I'd be glad to assist.
