Let me guide you on how to generate a report in QuickBooks Online that includes a merchandise payment and all its corresponding invoices.
Here's how:
- Click on the Reports tab.
- Search Transaction Detail by Account.
- Select Switch to classic view
- Pick your desired Report period, and click on Customise
- Click on Filter.
- Locate Credit Card Payment
- Click on Run Report.
- At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel.
- Save the file somewhere you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.
