Hello there.

Let me assist you today in accessing and deleting your journal entries so you can start over.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there are variety of ways in viewing previous journal entries.  Allow me to provide you those options:

First is to view it in the reports menu. Follow these steps to know how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Find report  by name section, type Journal.
  3. Click Journal to open the report.
  4. Click on Customize and set the desired reporting date from the Report period.
  5. Under Filter, choose Journal Entry from the Transaction Type dropdown.
  6. Click Run report.

There, you can view and delete the Journal Entries by clicking on the Journal to open and selecting More, then Delete.

Another option to access Journal is to:

  1. Click on the + New icon.
  2. Select Journal Entry under Other.
  3. Click on the counterclockwise icon in the upper left corner.
  4. Select View More.

There, you can view Journal entries, filter for any information you need, and delete those by hitting on More, then Delete.

You can also delete journal entries directly in the Chart of Accounts. Refer to this article to know how: Delete a journal entry in QBO.
