You can generate the General Ledger report in QuickBooks Online. This report shows both Debits and Credits with running balances for each transaction. 

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Report tab on the left side. 
2. Type the said report in the search box. 
3. Click Customise, then check the Debit, Credit, and Balance or Open Balance box. 
4. Select a specific account under the Filter section. 
5. Tap Run report. 

You can also click the Save customisation to memorize the report. This will save time since it automatically updates every time there are newly added transactions.
