You'll want to make sure that the items/materials have a Sales price/rate. This way, when you add the item to an invoice, it'll show the rate and amount based on the price you enter.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Products and Services.
  2. Find the item with zero Sales price and click Edit under the Action column.
  3. In the Sales price/rate field, enter the amount how much you sell the materials.
  4. Click Save and close.
  5. Then, repeat steps 2-4 for the rest of your materials.
