In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can only send or email invoices in your company file. The ability to do it using a sample file is currently unavailable.

 

If you already followed the steps shared by my colleagues in this thread and the issue persists, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team. They're able to pull up your account in a secure environment and check the root cause of the issue. They can also perform other troubleshooting steps to fix this for you.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. In QBDT, go to the Help menu at the top to get to the Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.
