If you're using QuickBooks Online Simple Start version, you're not able to run the Sales by Product/ Service Detail report. However, you can upgrade your QuickBooks Online account into QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and also in Advanced version to get the report you've desired.
Let me walk you through the steps on how to upgrade your QuickBooks Online version. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select the Account and Settings tab.
- Choose Billing & Subscription.
- Then, from the QuickBooks section click the Upgrade button.
- You will be presented with options for upgrading, along with its features and pricing.
- Click Upgrade for the product you want.
- Enter your payment information in the fields.
- Confirm the upgrade and your new billing, then choose Confirm Upgrade.
