Yes, the customer’s invoices will also move to the new job. Changing a customer into a job doesn’t affect the transactions previously created from the original customer since they will remain on the Transactions List.
When you create a new transaction, it will be added to the list of entries. For additional resources on how to manage a customer and a job, check out our self-help articles found in your QuickBooks.
Here’s how:
- Tap the Help menu at the top to select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- This will open the Have a Question window.
- From there, type in customer or job, and then it displays all topics based on what’s entered in the field box.
- You’ll have to click on the link to view the complete information.
