If you were to change the date on a reconciled transaction, it would change that month's reconcile totals and will throw off any reconciles thereafter. I recommend if you find an error to manually unreconcile the whole month that the transaction was in and re-do the reconcile to keep your reconcile balances and ensure future reconciles go smoothly.
