I can share some insights about how statements work in QuickBooks, LexFab.
The option to create a statement to a project is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. We can only create a statement to a customer.
Here's the list of transactions that can be added to a project:
- Invoice
- Receive Payment
- Expense, Estimate
- Purchase Order
- Bill
- Time
You can follow these steps on how to create a statement to your customers:
- Select Sales from the sidebar menu.
- Click the Customers tab.
- Tick the checkboxes for the customer or customers you want to make statements for.
- Select Create statements from the Batch actions drop-down.
- Choose the type of statement you'd like to make.
- Fill in the date fields.
- Click Apply, then hit Save.
