Dear MarylandT,

While your suggestion would help increase my profit, it does not solve the main issue I am trying to address— how to record invoices when goods are delivered as per accrual accounting. If I change an estimate to an invoice, the invoice date is inaccurate and I would need to change it at a later date to match the delivery. This method would not allow me to see how well my business is running regarding expenses for particular deliveries, and reports would be incorrect as the invoice dates would need adjustment to match delivery.

Additionally, I do not use the banking feature in quickbooks, so I am not able to use the accounts receivable as the source of my deposit.

Please kindly let me know if you can offer additional solutions.

Thank you
